There are various ways to play the Antique Tibetan Singing Bowls.  One way is to place the bowl in the palm of your hand, and with the other hand tap the outside of the bowl with the mallet. Striking the bowl will make it resonate.

Another way to play the bowl is to place the bowl in the palm of your hand, and with the other hand rub the outside of the rim in a circular motion with the mallet. This will allow the bowl to vibrate freely, and produce overtones and a continuous singing sound. You can also increase the speed which will allow the sound to rise.
